Southern Tier Enterprise Development Organization (STEDO)
STEDO is an affiliation of Southern Tier West that makes loans to qualified small business applicants who are undertaking projects, which will create job opportunities or retain jobs that are in danger of being lost.
A few of the businesses STEDO has provided loans for, are:
- ACME Electric Corp, Cuba, NY
- Country Inn & Suites, Olean, NY
- Enviro-Pac Manufacturing, Portville, NY
- Ashford General Store, West Valley, NY
- R & R Convenience Store, Olean, NY
- Miles Machine, Jamestown, NY
STEDO's loans are provided through grants and/or loans from the USDA Rural Economic Development Administration, US DOC Economic Development Administration, the Appalachian Regional Commission, and New York State.
