Regional Wind Conference
On October 25, 2007 Southern Tier West hosted its second Regional Wind Energy Conference at the Center for Regional Excellence. Topics covered wind energy development and agriculture; wind farms and wildlife; SEQRA; the legal aspects of wind energy development; wind energy concerns and comprehensive planning; and personal experiences. Also, there was a bus tour of the Bliss Wind Park sponsored by Noble Environmental Power and Southern Tier West.
