It's a new year, and with that comes new questions and concerns on ever-present issues.  This course, designed for both newly elected and incumbent officials, will provide an overview of the roles and responsibilities of public officers, meeting procedures, and compliance with the Freedom of Information Law and the Open Meetings Law.  The course will wrap up with a discussion of the legislative tools available to governing boards, including resolutions, ordinances and local laws.  Questions are encouraged!
